I have to say that yesterday's frame was the most insane, pulse-racing, white-knuckled action I've ever had in AH. As far as I'm concerned every one of us who got to fly in it came out winners. A massive
to those who put it together, to the leaders from both sides, and to the Allied pilots who fought us good guys tooth and nail through four frames!
(And two things I learned from Frame 4: (1) 110s have even bigger targets painted on them than buffs do. They're like giant P-51 and P-38 magnets! (2) If mass of 110s manages to get within spitting distance of a big formation of heavy bombers the resulting fight is like a bunch of guys soaked in gasoline flinging lit matches at each other. Even with my film from the first sortie slowed down to 1/7 speed there are so many planes exploding so fast it's hard to tell who's killing who.)
