« on: February 08, 2016, 07:08:39 PM »
A couple weeks ago I noticed my zoom function wasnt working, From the stick or the Z kb key. Not a real big issue, helps when gunning. Now tonight I notice it works on GV's but still not planes. Cant figger :bhead

Check your settings.

Clipboard>Options>Controls>Map Keys: Select View>Scroll down to Zoom Toggle should be Key_Z by default.
Clipboard>Options>Controls>Map Controllers: Look at the Mode Selection, is it on Mode 1? Is the Auto Select checked or not (that would explain the GV's working)? Has the desired button on the joystick been assigned to the Zoom Toggle function in the current/default mode?

Occasionally this happens to me. I have been able to get it back by toggling to zoom and using the zoom adjust keys [ and ]. Somehow the zoom gets adjusted all the way out as if it wasn't on.

Under MAp Keys and select view Zoom toggle is Z key
Under map controllers it is on mode 1, auto select checked and pressing zoom key on stick brings up zoom text on screen. Same as mode 2.  Still no  worky in planes either from stick or KB.

I think Drane has it. Jump into a field gun or shore battery and try your zoom keys there. Leave it zoomed a little and when you exit zoom should then work with airplanes.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

it's an old bug that is really hard to duplicate.  happened to me a couple of times years ago.  only way I found to get rid of it was to code it to my joystick.  I checked the keyboard map and it was all ok.  we have never provided enough data to hitech to figure it out.  it only happens once in a while.
