WWI airplanes in beta
« on: February 29, 2016, 05:53:34 AM »
Can I ask please why WWI airplanes are disabled in beta? Will there be a chance to test them too?
Are there any plans to add more WWI airplanes?

I second that, while I'll probably stick with my f2b, its always nice to be shot down by something new. Hopefully WW1 will gain some more popularity in AH3.

Would be interesting to see what WWI terrain would look like also.  :aok  Lots of new tiles to play with.  :x  USRanger had done a very scorched earth WWI custom terrain, that contained burned down, and shattered trees.

That would bring me into the WWI spirit, mainly because no matter what plane...... I can't seem to be able to fly those kites.  I end up in the trees, just like I did with them as a kid.   :(

I'll 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th... yadda yadda.....

I love this game, I know there are fans of the WWI game Rise Of Flight.... sorry, was I not supposed to mention that product?  too bad....

So, why can't we have a WWI arena here where we have multiple maps, many objectives, MORE THAN 4-6 aircraft selections..... sorry, ROF isn't too bad, but Aces High still kicks butt.  can we compete?

Would love to see the SPAD, Nieuport, and Albatros. Really kind of criminal to not have them.
Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.

In the WW1 planes, does the pilot's head follow your line of sight when you use the view keys or TR?

He follows the ailerons.

Also the elevator control.

While flying the aircraft is pitching and rolling while you try to take a screenshot in the external view of the pilot looking at you.  :joystick:
