Updated no problem.

Went into TankTown capture the flag, started up a Jagpanther, all graphics in full mode, had lots of flickering. It finally stopped when I turned off Post Lighting.

Chased Wormzila down in an M18, he was in a T34/75, took out his engine from about 800 yds out behind him but, when I got close;

1. 2 more rounds at point blank (AP) nothing.

2. Never saw his turret turn but boom I was dead.

Graphics are great!!!!!

Issue with the M16/M3 track sounds. The track on these vehicles is composed of two thick braided cables that are encased in a rubber track. The track sound in the game is one of heavy steel. These two vehicles do not have that type of track. The noisiest thing about the American halftrack is the suspension system, which can sound like an old metal-spring mattress.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

Was messing around with Chilli and 715 and it seems that even when the vehicle is not moving the tracks will still turn, and they will also jiggle about when stopped. and it also seems that you can not see the gun/turret traverse on other vehicles.

Wirbel only two guns show firing flash from their barrel. Sometimes when elevating the guns above 30 degrees, the firing sound stops. Then resumes at 30 degrees and lower.

Wonder if the tracks are moving when stopped because of the incur so clearance underneath vehicle tracks and tires. I see this sometimes offline with GV drones. I noticed with a B-26 I had to make sure the wheels were touching the ground or they rotated in place when I created a photo op lineup of static planes on a terrain last week.

This bare metal P-47 seems to be reflecting itself in its own fuselage.  I was offline and the only plane on the runway:

beta 10

so I uninstalled all beta and installed latest full install 10.

offline, loads, sits runway, quits, all as it should. enabled all, got 60 f/s. still find shadowing in cockpit to be very jaggy and slightly wiggally.

melee, ditto
tanks, ditto

Clean install seems to have fixed ctd's I was getting after patch 8 update.
To beat to transfer over my flight controller options, will do this on sunday and fly some.

Took me a mo to figure out the moving darkness in HQ was the shadow of the flag in the wind. nice touch!

Looks bleeping great tho!

Bugs found from a tank fight in Tankland tonight:

Smoke (from smoke rounds) was wonky: how much it covered depended on your angle of looking at it.  Straight on it was wide, slightly askance it would get smaller or nearly disappear.

Your views of other peoples tanks:
Stationary tanks, even with engine off, appear to oscillate about the yaw axis (like they are doing the twist... and yes, I am very old).  Saw this in CraterMA as well.
Enemy tanks do not appear to the player to be pointing in the direction the enemy says it is: I see a broadside shot but he says he was pointing at me.
Enemy tanks fire at you despite their turret appearing to point in a totally different direction.
As Tracerfi pointed out, other peoples tank tracks sometimes moved despite the tank being stationary and not turning, or even engine off.

Took a lot of screen shots but cant find them.   :headscratch:

As Oboe i see the jug reflection too.  I was in the P-47D-25.  However, i saw the reflection of the jug only on the left of the plant not the right.  On the wings i can see the inside cockpit reflection and on the inside bubble canape the whole cockpit reflection moving as i turn.

For the hell of it i jump in a B-17 and reflection of inside cockpit was on the engine cover.

TE Wireframe confusion.

This isn't new but I hadn't documented the details before.

The wireframe doesn't respond to zoom properly. Instead, it slides up/down the screen with the W and S keys.

jpg with description attached.

Also, if I force the whole terrain to -200 feet, or 1,000 feet, I would expect the whole terrain to show that as I move the cursor over it. That's not what the Y value reports. It bounces a foot as I move between verts.

In the TE, I tried several times to change the terrain size and it wouldn't save the new setting to the mdm file. I had to resort to modifying the file text.

Your looking at ocean. It is not drawn as a 3d object but rather the  points are inverse projected to the 3d world from a flat grid.

Disable ocean, then look at the land wire frame it will move as you expect.

What is your Environment Map Sides per frame set at?
If it is set to none it will only refresh the environment map when you change view types, such as internal external, or plane to tower.
