Zimme, Hawking is a brilliant physicist, but not an economist. All the people who believe in a future where most people are poor and can't afford squat while the oligarks and big corporations rule the world fail to understand the basic economics truth: If corporations are to make a profit, the people at large must have money to buy their products. What's the point of having automated robot factories stamping out millions of cars if no one can afford to buy them. And most people who throw the word "bourgeoisie" around don't even know what the diddlying word means.
