Anyone watching this show? IT's about the RMS Republic sinking, with a rumored fortune in US Navy and Russian loaned gold 20$ US newly minted coins (back then). Very colorful main character, who had at one time marched up to a guy who had moved in on his wife and whom he felt was threatening his children, and put 6 .380 rounds into his face. Jury gave him a pretty light sentence. Anyhow, he owns the salvage rights and had a failed recovery in the 80s, but is going at it again, and with a TV production with it.
Pretty interesting, I love wreck/salvage diving books and stories, and IF he's right on his research (it's quite thorough), and IF he can find the room where it's held - it's worth 2 to 3 BILLION dollars today.
