Mossies do not auger - they get re-planted.

Can't say I ever lost a Mossie to a 190 that way.

One of my final AH dogfights was a 190 and a 51D attacking my Mossie from 7 o'clock level.  The Fw190 died trying to run from me after I had dissected the 51D.

Most players are greedy by nature, and do not fly it enough to be good at it, but that applies to many planes.
