HiTech

I would if I knew what a fault offset was.

Flew Yak9T, Typhoon, 109G6, 51D and the old 202.  All worked fine, except that the rear view on the 51D still is blocked by the headrest.  View from the G6 is best ever, everyone will be flying that plane for the views.

Good fights this night.

Beta patch 15 worked great. Update to patch 16...Appcrash...no off or online...Unistalled patch 15, reinstalled 16 twice. Same result, Appcrash.  AH2 still works fine.  Not just a Win 10 thing. OS is Win 7 Pro.   :(

I'm puzzled. Is it possible to just uninstall one of the patches or does this mean that you uninstalled the the entire AH 3 Beta and then installed the full beta 16 version? I would prefer not to download the entire beta and reinstall it if possible since with my internet connection it takes several hours.

If the entire beta needs to be uninstalled and the full beta 16 downloaded and installed is there a process that needs to be followed other then uninstalling AH beta in control panel and then downloading and installing the full beta 16?  I've enjoyed AH3 so far and I would like to get back to it with a minimum of frustration.  I may just wait for the next update or final product.

Obviously everyone is not having this problem. Is it possible there will be fix in the next patch without requiring a complete reinstall?

From BETA Event in SEA tonight...

It seems that mass Air Spawning of Bomber formations causes confusion for Drones on who to latch onto. The Drones seemed to bounce from the closest player in my view. So 1 view, 68Falcon had all the drones and no one else did, and another view they would all bounce to 68Cactus. It was being reported by everyone involved including the enemy. We had about 8 formations or more.

Later, I spawned behind Dhawk and it was just me and him, it didn't seem to be an issue.

There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Now that's what I'd call tight formations!

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

I have noticed that in the hangar, the panther is shown with a 75mm gun. Is that correct? Also I have gotten hard lock-ups when hitting my mike button that only an ALT CTL DEL and a computer reboot will correct.

Offline NDisles,

A38, Oclub has trees growing in it.

All the ports, when looking to select a manned gun, the labels are mostly inverted, or 90 degress counter clockwise. The airfields are ok.

Reply to Condor.

Sorry for the confusion. I meant to say I uninstalled entire Beta after the patch 16 update. Then several uninstalls of the entire beta with the 16 update. My reinstalls were from the AH Homepage and also the link from Skuzzy's  in this forum, all with the same appcrash.

I don't know if you can uninstall a patch only. I understand your frustration with a slow download of the entire beta. I wish I could go back to beta with the 15 patch so I  could at least fly offline.

Clouds?   Or transition to night.  Bailed and in tower it was night.  It was a square area above the aircraft.  Borders were visible back and sides a well.

Thank you very much Oculus.

HiTech

Update worked perfectly for me (including Oculus support). Did seem to notice a fps drop, dropping tree detail made a huge difference.

I've been doing online updates since beta14. Today I downloaded the full beta16, saved a copy of thes four folders: ah3terr, chconfig, settings, and sights (working on some updates for the current sights). Ran an uninstall, then a full install of beta16. Tried to go into offline mode and the game would fail on trying to run NDisles.

When I copied over the four folders I backed up, the game ran my custom terrain fine in offline mode. When I then selected NDisles, the game ran it fine in offline mode.
