New LW guys; let youur presence known!

Last nights fighing between Knights and Bishops at A62 was a blast. Alot of Knights flying the 109 and 190 VERY well.

(I'm a man of no particular "hat". I fly the 109F-109G2/6's occasionally, the Ki61, the Yak, P-47, Zeke, P38, Macchi 205 and occasionally the SpitV off a CV. So I'm not in the USAAF, RAF, IJAAF, VVS, or LW. I'm just me <G> Even though I'm mostly found in a Yak)

Hi, I'm Ripsnort, when I want a 14/1 K/D ratio, I simply fly the G10.

Hi, I can typically be found in the 190D9. I also fly the 109G10 with the enemy "at the gates", and when I want a 1/1 K/D ratio. Though there are better LW rides for the job, I jabo in the 190F8 for the "historicity" of it.

I usually take a FW 190A-8, w/4 20mm's, I do okay in it, great fer vulchin', but that stinkin' one ping engine kill feature frustrates me greatly. In WB, the BMW 801d would run forever with an oil leak, strange that the same data isn't used in both games   :confused:

As I've posted before tho, ya gotta say a lil' prayer when flyin' it;

Psalm of Milenko

Kurt Tank is my shepherd, I shall not want;
he maketh me a FW 190A-8 to JABO down in green pastures.

He leads me beside still waters; he restores my K/D ratio.

He leads me in paths of BOOM-n-ZOOM for his name's sake.

Yea, though I FLY through the valley of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil; for
thou MK 108 30mm art with me, thy BMW 801d and thy MG 151's, they comfort me.

Thou preparest a VULCHFEST before me in the presence of my enemies.

Thou anointest my head with oil, yet my BMW 801d runneth still.

Surely, SPITFIRES and MUSTANGS, shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of the WÜRGER forever!

OK you ol Fat Arsed Buzzard!

I'm comin out of the closet!

I admit for the last two tours I have been flying and enjoying the 109G2. I am flying the 109G10 and FW190 as well. ArtLaws got me hooked in the training arena. I went in to learn it so I could beat it... AND I LIKED IT!  :)

Also, I'd like to know what LW squads are aot there that actually predominantly fly LW fighters   :).

We need to get organized for the next Rumble; next time the allierte schweinhunde opportunists will bite the dust!

I'm Drano and I came to AH in March from AW(FR) where the words Drano and 109 were synonymous. I got a reputation to keep up so I try and not get caught flyin anything else. :D  I do take P-51D's on attack runs tho.

The AW 109G-2 was IMO the best kept secret in that game. The AH version is every bit as challenging--if not more and tons of fun to fly. It isn't excellent in many departments outside climb rate but does most everything else very well. Its a pilot's plane. I've been flying the G6 pretty much exclusively using the single 20MM cannon.

I fly with the Damned. Heve been with them or one of their splinter groups for quite some time. While we're not a "LW" squad a few of us are flying 109's and 190's.

One thing I miss a lot about AW is the events. Summertime cuts into my flying time a lot but look for me to get more involved in stuff come fall. I'm lookin forward to checkin out the events here.

Drivin' LW Iron is sorta like masturbation, everyone does it, no one admits to it.   ;)

BTW Thunder one of the most fun times I had online was the night I tried to shake your 109G2 off my 190A-8's six   :D <S>
