Yes, I actually drove around and confirmed each object number as I clicked 'destroy'.

The area for the port that would be water, can you lay a scattered pattern of light diagonal lines to contrast from the land and port structures? Or do that pattern for the land? Your line drawing maps with the most contrast of line depth are the fastest to mentally resolve the layout.

I like the line drawings because they don't make me have to look at the pretty colors other than where they do a good job telling me something is important to see. The lines work at the port.

Yeah, my concern is the larger the base gets, the crazier the color maps are going to get.  I'm working on the small airfield now.  Maybe I'll do the large airfield first, and see how crazy it gets.

Jinx, you may have already done it but, a legend for the color maps would help also.  :salute

I'll go back and add a legend once I have the full set complete.  I'm a little concerned the whole icon thing may not work on a large field, but I could be wrong.

Here's what the large field blue line looks like:

I'm not purposely being "negative" here, but if maps are being made for use in AH3 does that mean
we'll have the same "cookie cutter" design for all fields, bases, and ports?

Hello Odd!  I am going to say yes for the MA, with more variety added with Vehicle and Flak bases.

Events' arenas, I am guessing, could change things up and could mix in the old with the new or do custom fields (at the cost of the upload size).

Correct me if am wrong, but it seems that the terrain itself may vary.  What I mean, is it seems that hills and elevations are more tolerable with the new version.  So, I am guessing that the same field layout may look quite a bit different from the aspect of ground level.  Then again, I have very little with the Terrain Editor and I might just be injecting pure speculation.

I think the terrain changes up at the fields.  I saw one GV field covered in snow in the CraterMA.

Hey Chilli! As always, great to "see" ya, sir. <S>
Thanks for the input. I keep hoping that at some point, at minimum, the towns would be
a bit varied; reflective perhaps of the varying architectural styles of particular countries.
I can keep hopin', I guess. ;)

Best regards, Odd
