Dumb question
« on: April 18, 2016, 05:45:59 PM »
I'm in my cockpit.  In AH 2 I could pan around with the mouse.  What chicanery do I need to do in order to accomplish this in AH 3?

Not sure if this is what you want jinx, you can hit F3 or F4 then hit F8 and use the hat switch to look around.  Hitting F8 keeps the view from going back to the start position.  You can hit F8 from the F1 position also and use the hat switch.   For mouse usage, I'm not sure.  Best of luck.

I assigned a button to "mouse pan toggle".  Hit that button when clipboard is not up and mouse mimics head movement.

It works the same as F8 command.  The second clipboard map comes up, it goes back to normal F1 view mode (no mouse pan).

I got used to using the "mouse pan toggle" button, when we were testing mouse control for aircraft.  I recommend to having it set just in case... unless you have TrackIR.
