A son or daughter in college wrote to his or her parents
asking for money. But!, he or she asked in a cryptic manner.
The note was:

  Send
  More

  Money

How much did she or he ask for?

The son, Money signed the note asking his parents to send his sister, More. (The siblings are named, "Money" and "More").  Therefore the son, Money, only asked for as much as it took to send his sister, More.

 :headscratch:  Weird, but that's all I got......  :confused:

he/she was asking for parents to send more money.  more is the name of the sibling.  it's an old joke.  kind of like when is 2+2 not equals 4.

I googled it.....   :rolleyes:  That was about as straight forward as the current tax code.   (they did all but the last digit "y")  I say y = 2    but I still like my first answer better, math hurtz  :(
