An event open to all members of the Aces High Community 49th & 325th Fighter Groups will host a B-17 Mega Mission on Friday May 27, 2016
Mission posts at 8:30 PM Central Time (02:30 Zulu)
Mission Rolls at 9:00 PM Central Time (03:00 Zulu)
Squads will be able to fly as bombers or as fighter support. Intent is put into the air a crushing amount of bombers being supported by a large number of fighters. And be a part something really BIG. The Bomber right now is the B17, but nothing stops you from upping in a bomber of your choice and tying into the group. The fighters will be your or your squad’s choice along with when you up and escort and then drop out. You’ll just want something with long range capability.
You can expect to fly a long mission 1-2 hours. A little less for the fighters who will be able to up a little later after the bombers are at alt. Exact targets will be selected based on the map at the time. And exact targets and briefings will be in the air to maintain security.
You may have to switch sides in the Late War Arena to participate. The 325th will have to switch.
