It's not a bad word, but for me personally, it's a weak and unnecessary way to describe anyone, ever.  Things change over time, one of them is certainly our use of language.  I am always hoping that our compassion, respect, and understanding of our fellow man is also changing for the better.

More times then not the occupy movement did more to pzz me off then get me to be sympathetic about them. But that was one instance that even today viewing it still enrages me.
