New Ki-61 3D model in beta 22.

This new Ki.61-1c model has a 2K texture!  For a fighter!   

Thought all those screws looked unusually detailed.   Excellent work, guys.   

Can't wait to try it out, and here's hoping your roadmap for this series eventually includes the earlier Otsu and Hei variants, the 1500hp Ki.61-II, and the radial-engined Ki.100 version!

I've been analyzing the bitmap and 2K is truly impressive. I just wish we were able to use true color and not limited to a 256 color palette.

I can live with 256 color bitmaps -- often that's a limitation of driver interface.

I'd love it if they took the time to offer a wider range of variants, all with different weights due to varying armor plating, self sealing tanks, and weapons loadouts:


Ki-61-Ko: 2x 12.7mm, 2x 7mm (think: C.202)
Ki-61-Otsu: 4x 12.7mm
Ki-61-Hei: 2x german 20mm in wings, 12.7mm nose
Ki-61-Tei: What we have in AH now, 2x IJA 20mm in nose, 12.7mm in wings.

I notice the screenshot mis-labeled as Ki-61C. That's not the accurate name. Even using the Western nomenclature which is often easier to understand, it would be the Ki-61-Ic, and that's not the model we have now. If you look at my list above, it corresponds to -Ia through -Id (in order). The -c model had German MG151/20s sticking out the leading edge of the wings and 12.7mm in the nose. You can see the 3D graphics match the -Id variant, so I assume that's just a typo. It gave me a moment's hope that we'd got the earlier, lighter version.
