Interesting.  My tanks don't have altimeters or geo positioning.  Do yours, Wezel?  What kind of hack is this.

This response does not explain why you wrote "Friday July 2nd."
The specified Zulu ( Universal Time, Coordinated - UTC ) start time is 0300, which would be July 2. Although, their UTC time is wrong. Central time (DST) is 5 hours after Z, so the actual times should have been listed as 0130 and 0200 UTC.

The 'Friday' part might be a little confusing, but using UTC immediately dispenses all confusion as to time-zones.

Oh.. there is a UTC App for your phones if you need it.  I find it very useful.

My prediction.

Well it could not have been further from the truth.....we drove 45 min to one of the Bish arifields and as luck would have it another rook mission went in before hand. We contacted them on range and asked that they leave the town up and just hit the airfield and take out the ords. Another flight came back and deacked the town as the 15 M4's and support M3 entered town destroying it in less than 5 min,and running troops for the capture. The operation was so successful all of the participants wanted to do it again,so we checked the map and saw another field with a spawn into it and repeated the attack.  On this mission we had no air cover when we started, we had to deack as we moved in, the Bish showed up and with the ords down they chose to use IL2's to defend with..... a few of our countrymen showed up in fighters to deal with the aerial threat and Base take # 2 came shortly. All in all everyone on our side of the mission had a great time. BTW these two mission put the rooks over the 20% mark and the push on the Knights started which later on was sucessful and the rooks took the map around 2 am central time. So yes it was a big success and a blast to be in.....so join up next time we run one of our GV missions....they are not always a long drive, but they are always fun ........A Kodak moment

Would like to get the details about that gunsight, if it's a real one it looks like a bit of cheating, having such sight in commander mode cannot be entirely legal..

I just want to hear more about it. If such sight is allowed then it should be made available to all players. That sight is better than any standard sight in the game and it's in commander mode. It would be very unfair if only some players have access to it.

But at this Point im not accusing anyone of anything. i just want to hear more about it.

I suspect photoshop shennanigans..

Graphics are too crisp on the 'alien' data as compared to icon text.

'course, they're probably getting a kick out of how persistent folks can be..

It would not surprise me if that is the case, thats why i wrote if its real.

Actually, it's not the commander position.  It's a self propelled artillery M3 viewed from a modified head position in the observer position for sighting and C&C purposes.  The black cross-hair is a different component, a sight overlay (alpha channel) if you will.  The rest of the components of the sight remain classified.  Point being,; this is not a position in which this vehicle can fire, therefore there are other variables taken in to consideration other than the sight itself.  It is magnificent though isn't it!

<S> APDrone, thanks for the help at 45!!!

That sighting overlay appears to provide a plethora of information to the user.
What file(s) specifically are you using to display it and that information?
ie: is it a modified data file of some sort?
It appears to be extracting various data from the AH map making program,
then laying it atop the commander's position as an overlay.
One could (very easily perhaps) use this same data/program, incorporated into a gunsight
and determine to a very precise degree, extrapolate (via the program in use)
the range of a particular target/vehicle.

One could OddCaf, but at this point we have done it so much that we can range about anything by feel, and definitely by the second shot!
