The fights are still there to be had. There are lulls where there didn't used to be though. Not too long ago, you could show up at any random base and a red guy would up to meet you. Now I can orbit a base at 2/3K and run out of fuel waiting. 1/2 the time only some knob will hop in an 88 and take pot shots at you. Overall the fights are there to be had, ironically you need more then 1 or 2 planes to draw the red guys out. Kinda counterintuitive with the numbers falling off.

You might as well just wait until AH3....Gameplay is garbage right now due to the game mechanics.

We can only hope HTC takes away some game features to force people to engage in combat.

Either you don't know Junky, or you're being transparently insincere. I'm guessing since you're not new here it's the latter.

Junky's one of the minority of players in AH that aren't scared to engage in a fight from a position of disadvantage.

Call it a whine if you like. Personally I don't see it that way but you're welcome to your opinion. But insinuating Junky is something he's the polar opposite of is BS.

Right on, FishBait. It isn't really whining if there is a legitimate concern. In this case (to paraphrase Sheldon Cooper) "You guys are having fun wrong!"

A truly nasty, glorious answer would be a system where Junky and others who don't care about the numbers, just wanting players to up and fight them. Their Icon is visible at all times in the arena in some special color, their dot on radar is the same color always showing at any alt. And the player who succeeds in shooting them down gets a free 262. Oh, and this is a check box next to your ID in the Clipboard roster, and being killed by another player who checked the box negates getting a free 262.

How this will turn out is anyone's guess. Probably you would either have whole sides of the map to your self or, hoards of pickers hunting you for the 262. If it worked out, 24x7 king of the hill for the special guys.
