I hope the dueling fields stay the same. But I also hope there is some restructuring on the DA lake area, or just take that part out and make a new arena that is better suited for quicker and faster fight times like I've mentioned in a few post. I think If you made the lake area smaller, added 3-4k spawns instead of bases, created a 7k alt cap, and made it a free for all, it would be incredibly fun for everyone playing. This is something I've wanted in the game for a long time. The DA lake was on the right track, but it needs some restructuring. That's really the only reason why it's not utilized that much.

I quite liked the lake. A few years ago in my daytime it had a good number of players who just wanted to fight and practice their ACM. We used to call it the breakfast club. Although there was no schedule this activity's end was usually marked by a couple of Tempests showing up. In general though a totally different feel to the MA. Had to make a lot of adjustment going there. See a few of these fellas in the MA now, a lot have left I think. Some of them were the old H2H crowd.

Like air spawns as a replacement for the bases Perhaps even random airspawn positions is an idea.

Fields in AHIII are closer, map smaller.  You'll find a fight within a few short minutes

If there's not any bases and you just launch at 3-4k, how will you learn to take off? I've seen your take offs before and they need help!

The DA was where I learned that all the pilots had a closer friendship and helped each other and new Pilots with skills we each had for the fun of just learning to play this game. Yes there were those that would talk and play just to aggravate as in the MA but the rest of us would soon let them know, an eventually even they became good friends with us all. What happened in there I don't know, when I finally got back in it was a desert. I would like to see it thrive again cause it taught a lot to me and the friends that I have  and lost since I started I would not trade the time for anything. I remember Bentnail and was saddened when I heard even cried a little cause we had some good times and when I needed help the Pilots I met in the DA came through for me up until then I thought I was just a ping in cyber space lets bring it back into popularity again please

TC and Vraciu publicly headed off to the DA this night.  I thought it would be nice to follow, and I so announced.  FX1 followed me in (boo to all you turkeys who didn't, think of the kills you missed).  Although FX1 knocked me this way and that way, over and over again, I had the best fights I've had in months.  Take advantage of this arena.

DA and KOTH are very similar in the mentality of the people who normally participate in them...it's not all about winning and losing like some would think, it's about learning, getting better and having epic fights.

Saturday August 27th we are having 2 KOTHs in one day...one at 3EDT(hosted by Bruv) and one at 9EDT(hosted by me). If you're looking for a fight there will plenty of them and if you think you can't keep up with the guys who fly in there, this is where you can learn...literally you can sit in CM eye mode and ask questions about what they are doing ...it's an awesome setup to learn ACM.
