disable re-arm for perk planes
« on: July 24, 2016, 08:32:12 AM »
To prevent using said perk planes long after ENY restrictions kick in.
"Then out spake brave Horatius, the Captain of the gate:
To every man upon this earth, death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better, than facing fearful odds.
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."

If the pilot is able to keep the plane operable let him have it.

This option already exists. Land that perk plane if ENY guilt compels you to do so. -1

ENY is to prevent the high numbered side from ganging with the best planes.

An uber pilot re-arming his uber plane and then helping to steamroll the lower numbered side is circumventing the intent of the rule.

But perhaps the rearm pad is intended to make that possible? ;)

I suck horribly so I have no huge glut of perk points, and even I think this is a bad idea.  -1

No ENY guilt on my end.  You got the wrong guy.

But perhaps the rearm pad is intended to make that possible? ;)

Given that ENY and side switch times work against each other,  it may well be another sinister plot by HTC.   :noid

Care to explain what makes it bad when the high numbered side can't fly perk planes?

254?  Pffft!  Noob.  :neener:

Whaaaaaaaa?

But but I enjoy re-arming my 262 well past when the ENY would not let me have it.  I've got a much better chance of actually running into another Perky plane when this happens, maybe even another 262.  Re-arm does not fix damage so it isn't likely you will keep on going forever.

I really enjoy the challenge of these runs, why would you really want to take that from me?

Took up a 262 just yesterday, my day off.  Started early in the morning when it cost me 58 perkies.  I landed many hours later after defending our strats with 20 kills.  Perk cost on the 262 when I landed was over 300.

If you really want to stop me, guys like me, get a couple of your buddies, grab  262's and come hunt me down.  It's easy, send in a lancaster at 20k as bait and pounce when I attack.  See, the game has tools that can take away my perkie plane at any time, you.
Wag more, bark less.

Uh, no.  If he's able to keep his bird intact, then he should by all means be able to keep her.

Now, if it was something like; "Make it to where you cannot rearm at a base with it's ords down.", THEN you are on to something. :)
