Support for bails and ditches at sea
« on: July 28, 2016, 12:49:38 PM »
The water and waves look great in AH3, and the environmental sounds of seagulls and waves are awesome (I get shot down over water alot).  If its not too much trouble, I think it would look much more realistic to change the pilot who bails out over water from this:

to something more like this:

Might be cool to support rescue at sea of downed pilots by allowing the pilot to join an adjacent PT Boat  (and maybe later a PBY Catalina :x?) as a gunner.   Rescue drivers/pilots could earn perk points, and this capability might find use in one-life scenarios and events.   Give the pilot a flare gun, or the orange smoke grenades carried by the Storch to aid in finding him.  Would be cool to support pilot rescue on land with the Storch, too (it also has a gunner position) or other planes with gunner positions.

I'm not smart enough to cross-link to my suggestion about randomizing  outcomes of bailing out, but you should have a look.

If we're going to have bails and rescues on water, we'll need sharks.
