If its Skyrr or not I personally never had issues with him. But this starfox guy seems to have a hard on for my F4U all the time....well who doesn't want a piece of me?? But he goes extra hard...whoever or whatever it is I can careless less. It's a free country. Also like Lazer said there are ways around being banned. Guys just leave the guy alone.......

The way it works now, your engine cuts off and restarts immediately. It instantly removes all torque effects from your aircraft, making hammerheads and other difficult opposite torque maneuvers easy to do. You can also do some crazy slow speed maneuvers if you cut the engine off then restart it with full power going. In the new version of AH your engine takes a few seconds to restart mid air, so this will be less effective.

So he's using the engine off feature like a blip switch?

Guys guys.... it's better and easier to just cut throttle all the way and roll over, than to turn the engine off, and then wait till you regain the power. Turning off your engine can be fatal agaisnt players who know how to utilize their E better.

As for Starfox. He flies similar and has the same style as skyyr, but that's not saying much  ;)

when your main aim is to rinse all energy out of your opponent, rope them right up into a stall and you go to far and spin.  Having the engine off eliminates the torque and can allow the player to get the plane nose down and under control marginally quicker.  Basically it's a bit of a gimmick rather than take the time to learn the intricacies of the flight / stall model and not put yourself in that position in the first place.

Shouldn't the lack of thrust make the plane wallow, instead of improving maneuverability?

Meh, he makes a good piggy snack... he sure does fly the same way flies the same planes, as far as being banned and getting back in there's enough programs out there that will mask your IP address.

Filter out the gang kills if you're going to put up pvp stats.

Starfox hasn't Hoed me on any merge or front quarter pass so if it is Skyyr he is being much nicer.

And I've seen him do it over and over and over.

He is very good at milking an overshoot. I heard him killing his engine, but tbh it was not uncommon in the old days for players without throttles.

The flipside of torque is good players will know how to use it. There used to be a couple of hawg pile-its that could really take advantage of torque to spin F4U's around.

Also wasn't uncommon in the old days to dump all MG ammo on takeoff to make that fat bird skinny, or at least so the theory was. I liked it more for the fact that I knew I was landing only cannon rounds heh.

Yep, just another AH urban legend.

I remember a time when about every second Bf 110G taking off was shooting off it's rear gun to save 0.5% of their takeoff mass  :D

Well, the engine off trick works.

I tested it in my Pony.   Full flaps in the horn.  Steep right turn.  Idle power.   Killed the engine and the airplane lurched.   Turned it on and it lurched back.  So the torque is definitely there.

My issue is griefing. We were in the DA (FESS can attest to this) The sides were already uneven with only StarFox and myself on one side and 4 on the other....I up and all the sudden he switches sides and Bee lines right toward me...didn't care he was E fighting or taking every HO attempt he could get....in the end it didn't stop his plane from going poof....But it's blatantly obvious he head hunts people he has had problems with(This thread is kind of proof YOU never actually DAed me Vraciu...). He is obviously still doing the same crap he got banned for in the first place which is A. not good for the community and B ANNOYING as all get out...I like enjoying my time in game, not being headhunted by some sissy voice salamander. No doubt in my mind it is him...I could post film of our recent DA fight and 10 out of 10 of the first posters who have any experience fighting Skyyr in the DA will be like....Yep that's him.

Oh and the other night in the death bowl....I purposely don't use the higher spawns (There are deck spawns and 5K spawns) he takes the 5K one everytime. I killed his LA7 in a 152 in a rolling fight so he ups the same plane and again...bee lines right for me with a ton of smash from the 5K airspawn...I know he's done this to Krup as well.....EXACTLY the same way...

He worse then the griefers in Call of Duty...probably because he was one at some point. SMH

Oh this most certainly is Skyyr. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind, and I have about 15 years of a 'relationship' with this person from which to draw.

Let's keep in mind we're dealing with a highly obsessive personality here, who has gone to great lengths to be able to play AH again and avoid detection, not the least of which is ditching / crashing planes and wasting ammo to present misleading statistics.

I'm only surprised that he didn't buy some type of voice modulator then he could vox again...

My problem with this whole thing is that despite his apparent improved behaviour on ch200, he's still a griefer, still using the same old "tricks" to try to hunt people into annoyance. In an of itself that's par for the course, but when you combine it with the fact that he's a proven cheater (and liar), having been permanently banned from at least 2 games that I know of, I don't agree with the sentiment of letting him be, as some have suggested.

I suppose the only solution here is to wait until he screws up (again), then has to go through the whole circumvention process (again).

At least we don't have to put up with his look-at-me threads any more, until he becomes more emboldened.
