Turkey at it again
« on: July 31, 2016, 03:31:45 PM »
Quote
* There are approx 7000 Turkish police and military personal in the town near Incirlirk air force base, the local media is "releasing pictures" showing a possible coup coming from the american soldiers at the base....

* Due to the above, there is now mass protests at the US embassy in Turkey with Islamists shoutoing "down with America:

* Turkey goverment has announced an "inspection" of the air force base will take place soon, until then all air space is closed

That airbase has nukes.  I'm surprised this isn't all over the major US news outlets and the rest of the world is doing a "oh ****" at the thought the worlds newest dictator might get his hands anywhere near nukes.

Having lived in Izmir... I'm really sad to see all the turmoil !!
However, if the islamist are going to take over and the majority of Turkish
people want it, so be it !! It is after all, a democracy and in light of recent
events, it appears they want it!!

I highly doubt that American soldiers would pull something like that in Turkey. Propaganda to incite some hate, perhaps?

Oh definitely, the original coup was almost guaranteed to be a false flag op to get Erdogan more power.

Making countries daft is a good why to control them.

Kissing the floor five times a day is an awesome method of stopping a country from improving itself :old:

That is not democracy - that is the death of democracy.

Bozon... How was the current Prime minister chosen?
A democratic election. If they want the death of democracy,
they should be able to use democracy to vote for it  :bhead

Turkey is a member of NATO.  They may want to consider what they are doing considering their wonderful relationship with Russia.

Is it War?

What has North Korea to say about this!

It had already been decided by the US what is going to happen.

They are going be paid billions to keep out refugees.
