Pre-release Patch Things to know and ask

Report problems in the proper thread.  This is not a bug report but playing information.

If you want to use Squad colors you have to hit ctrl-s like AH2.

Some of the head positions will be different so don't wait to get in and get caught with your pants or head down.

Bomber drones come out below your lead ship.  If you just clear an obstacle your drones may not.

Unless you have tested a B29 on takeoff on a specific runway, beware the trees and building might get your perks. 

Things to ask.

Since we are taking off on grass next to a finished runway.  If you land on the grass runway does it count as a successful landing?

What is the Sphere slider?

To add to this, some attack fighters that are loaded down heavy may have trouble getting up on some runways due to trees.

Just cause your on auto climb doesn't mean your going to clear the trees at the end.

That grass is a runway, the new end sortie menu selection will turn green if you are at a good spot to exit.

I have to use flaps on a loaded P-38L or a P-47D to clear the building at the end of the grass runways.  I can do it without flaps but it is close.  i don't see this as a design flaw but a challenge  heavy fighters may had to have faced in ww2.


Note too you may think by the near stall shaking the flight model as changed but past post have said no change to the flight model has been made between ah2 and 3.  It may be the different graphics display gives you a visual feel the plane is washing out earlier than ah2.  Just beware if you wait to get started on ah3 you may behind the eight ball.

environment mapping appeared to have turned itself to 1 by default. 

This setting is bad for weaker computers turn it off!!

NEW BUG:

East A50  coming in for landing after rtb  in the desert part of the map after the water...  While on approach   started getting   texture  errors   and the   clipboard was unresponsive to the keyboard.

Upon landing i could not see myself typing  .ef


Had to exit game.
