Not sure where this belongs..
« on: August 19, 2016, 10:55:35 AM »
but I wish for the perks and achievements to be wiped when AH III goes life to give the new comers that will probably appear to have a level playing field with most of the experienced players.

What "level playing field"?  A vet that's going to kill you in a Tempest is also probably going to kill you just as easily in a jug.  Achievements offer no gameplay advantage, they're just for display purposes.

The experience disparity is what new people are up against far more than perks.

Just seems to me like something that will piss off a lot of people for virtually no benefit.

+1 to Wiley's answer, not the OP.

I see no benefit from this at all.  Good pilots will earn their perks in just a few days.  Poor pilots will lose their hard earned perks and take a long time to get them back.

The achievements are just for fun and only have value to those that have earned them.

Not to mention that there are those of us who don't play anywhere as often as we used to, as a result it took a while to obtain the perks we do have.

what is funny about the op is mentioning a "level field" for new players.  unless hitech is willing to change the flight dynamics to give new players a higher than normal skill, wiping perks wont make them any better.  chances of encountering a perk plane are very slim.  I can go a month without seeing a perk plane unless my piggies up one.

and monthly wipes on perks would be awesome.

Awesome for whom? The few vets who put a massive amount of hours in this game each tour would profit immensely from such a rule. If you make 500-1000 perks per tour on a regular base (been there, done that), such a thing would hardly bother you. If you are just an average AH pilot with standard sucess and hours and something like 50 perks per tour (excluding war perks), you will probably never be able to fly a 262 at all.
