why is it that I have a stack of failed dvd drives?
Appears another one failed, will not make discs. w7 iso for new build failed.
Granted I buy cheap ones, but they get minimal use, just when I need them they freak'in fail............

It's part of the pricing scheme for electronic devices. If the drive is lower quality, or if there is a high failure rate, then the price will be low and the warranty a short span of time. You don't have to spend multi-hundreds to get a good one, and even if you desire a TL/QL writer it is possible to get a Monday assembly unit.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.
