That map was designed to make hoards stumble and have to furball into and out of any NOE attempt they initiated. The map could be shrunk in half by eliminating the interior empty half and it would still be an excellent furball and fight for a base map.

Any map with shore line and CV action should be upgraded to include Shore Batteries. Especially with the new effectiveness of the 5 incher's.  :ahand

I agree with bstr. Shave off or zone off the back bases. It's an excelent map. Shore batteries are deadly as heck, and the way bombing is, it's pretty easy to sink one. So the extra action of killing a CV isn't too difficult. I think it makes for better fights to not have one, TBH.

A better solution would be to nerf the ship guns to keep the fights going longer.

In a way I was being flippant. To shrink this map you would have to create a complete new terrain that you have mapped out all the bases excluding the the parts you want to leave out. It would be a full time terrain building effort because it would be a completely new terrain copying a modified layout from the Fester terrain.

When you gents wish for some map to be modified in this matter unless it's something like adding shore batteries or moving a base slightly. You are really asking HTC to build a new map which they won't. You will have to use the existing map as your guide, fire up the terrain editor and make a totally new terrain.

No one has every wondered why with all the wishes to shrink or change some large feature over the years HTC has never modified a terrain??

Lunatic, the new terrain editor is pretty simple......
