Frame 2 AAR
Allied Attack from the North on the city. Well, we had a blast and ran into a pretty aggressive group of 109’s just North of the city. Ours was a squad of 21 TU-2 (with formations) mit YAK fighters. We came in from Vicinity of A145 and headed straight for the city. Most of us got our bombs out and we saw results in the buffer. No logs for the frame so it’s hard to tell how we actually did. Hats off to the 109’s. They chased us down as we egressed out and shot most of us down.
I was wondering if the Axis had figured out what we were doing, or was it a surprise? Anyway…fun fight, can’t wait for next week. <S>
