August FSO Frame Scoring

All,

I hope that everyone had fun in this event. By the review on the logs, there was no shortage of action from the first contact to the end of each frame. This was a tightly contested battle all the way through with small errors the caused the difference in victory. The overall winners of the event;

AXIS Victory

The new rule base and scoring seem to allow for closer results in the final scores. The victory came to the side that was led well and focused on the  objectives, responsibilities and teamwork as warranted in each frame objectives write-up.

Congrats to Axis on frames 1 and 3... but I'm calling for a recount on frame 2.

First... I really don't think I should have given the Allies 80 points... especially when one of my kills was poor Vulcan in his F4U.

Alpo is correct.  Ace was not in correct plane.  Score needs to be recounted.

Gentlemen,

That was pointed out to me earlier and I missed it again.

I will review and make the appropriate adjustments based on this information.

Frame 2 Scoring Adjustment

All,

Corrections have been made to the frame two scores.

1) There were no points awarded to the Axis Ace pilot for flying the wrong aircraft.

2) Twenty points were reduced from the Allied Ace pilots score and the penalty for friendly fire had already been assessed.

I was wondering where the results were posted......I'll be sure to pass this along to my squad mates. FSO has a Facebook page and have never seen the link to this information posted, might be a good idea to start doing that. I plan on posting it on the 49ths page every month

I've been trying to keep the FSO page updated, will make it a point to start posting results there.
