Win 7 Keys---bs?
« on: September 19, 2016, 02:30:19 PM »
I looked at Win 7 in google shopping and a lot of sites advertise either product keys or downloads for less than $50. Are these legit or bogus? If legit where do they come from?

I don't know for sure, here local small builder shops sell the stickers from demolished PC's for about the same price. I wouldn't buy such a license without the sticker. It's too easy to copy the code to be used in a gazillion of builds which would lead to Microsoft blacklisting it.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

There is a seller on amazon selling Win 7 professional DVD with OEM key. I think I got it around $60-65. Installed it and it was legit with holographic DVD and license sticker. Works great so far
