Vid card recommendation
« on: September 16, 2016, 02:41:13 PM »
Looking for suggestions on a new vid card replacement to help with playing Ah3.  I currently have a GeForce GTX 750 Ti that's a few years old.  It does alright but id like better fps at higher graphic settings.  I don't have room in my case for a behemoth card.  My comp is a Dell Vostro 460, windows 7, intel core i5 2400 cpu, 16 gb ram

EVGA(sp?) offers a small version of the GTX 1070.

Edit: I think you'll be ok with your power supply but compare the loads anyway to make sure.

Asus makes them too.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

EVGA, Gigabyte, and Zotac make GTX 1060 6GB cards that are only 6.8" long. There are a few reports that players have had good results with the 1060 in AH3. These run $250-$260. The Gigabyte mini 1070 sells for $400 at New Egg.
Balrog in game. Some day my performance may justify the name. LOL
