You have to change the size of the buffer window. This happened to me and drove me nuts. It only takes a pixel or two, so watch the text and carefully make the window taller; you'll see the text fix itself.
So I tried this, and it didn't have the effect you said it did. When I increased the height of the text box, it just moved where the text was skewed. It's almost as if there is a diagonal line from the lower left, to the upper right that shifts the pixels. Funny thing is, I tried it off line so I could get a screen shot, and it didn't have the same problem.
