Mic crackling and static while transmitting? Anyone else?

I am running Windows 10. I know there are a lot of issues with Mic problems in 10 from reading. A lot of people are having problems with it but it tests fine in Windows 10.

Like the subject says my vox is understandable but barely. I have uninstalled and reinstalled all devices and updated drivers. It tests perfectly and sounds great in Windows. I have tried every adjustment in game and Windows. It mimics a loose or bad wire. I have a new Mic coming just to make sure but don't really think that is the problem. Same Mic and headphones worked just fine in A/H II.

Any ideas?

Hard to know for sure, but . . .

The first signs of a failing PSU are audio anomalies, followed by potential data loss, followed by component failures. Great news right? While a card may sound fine while the system is more or less at rest, it can create anomalies under stress. Aces High is fairly stressful on any computer. Once this starts you can try a reboot, but if it is consistent then you may want to consider having your PSU stress tested, or replaced.

Audio anomalies are not an absolute, but I always prefer to be safe than sorry.

That said, you might offer up a DXdiag and wait for other comments.

OK fixed it, I missed a driver update for the MB.

Sometimes when I do a lot of audio editing, like now, I start to get anomalies like that. A reboot will usually clear it up.
