To briefly echo my post under Badger's "I quit" thread...
I was hoping the emphasis on new planes would always be to complete the plane set out fairly realistically before venturing into the "uber zone". I propose this: Add all the damn uber planes ya want to, but have them only available in the "Uber Arena", leaving a fairly standard, but complete, plane set in the main arena. The whole "I'm gonna buy me a uber plane with all the credits I've earned" thing sounds waaaay too arcadish, even for a hard core Quake veteran like myself. One of the attractions of AH (which has seriously cut in to all my other gaming time, not to mention prying myself away from it to tend to my kids

)is the realism it provides. True, it is a game, but buying planes, and having the ubers around in general, seems more like something for an offroad racing game, etc., than a flight sim. "Kewl! I earned 1000 bucks.. now I can afford them thar Super Duper studded mud tires and a couple o them turbo packs to help me jump over them big hills!" Not exactly what I ever expected to see in AH. I say create a uber arena, and leave them all there, and obviously leave them available for offline and H2H, so that people who want to fly them and face them can exercise their freedom to do so, but those who don't can exercise theirs as well. Just a thought, however feeble it may be.
