Taking aim, I closed my eyes, gritted my teeth, and pulled the trigger. The sound of the spring loaded plunger going "boing" startled me. I became disoriented watching the BB arc towards its target. The "dink!" sound it made bouncing off a coke can was horribly loud. The recoil was horrendous, like a bazooka or some other recoilless weapon, and it dislocated my shoulder. I vomited and cried. I still have PTSD. Anxiety. Irritability. Nightmares. I may never again be the same.

That poor, poor man.  Disgusting story.  Truly.

I thought satire was dead - or just illegal.

All Hail the Red Cube!

Nice post, Brooke.

That's pretty funny. Was this written in response to that reporter that was "traumatized" when he shot an AR15 for the first time?

reminds me of pocket knifes.  Every boy had one in my youth.  Kind of a right of passage.  Now a pocket knife will get you arrested.

That is a super generous offer!  Many thanks!  :aok

Right now, it's hard for me to get time as I've got young twins, but if you want dinner or lunch some day and a beer, I would be very happy to take you out anywhere around Redmond if you have the time. <S>!

It's a lot more fun to shoot cans than to shoot at cans with a BB gun :)

Anyone else thinking about getting one?  It comes as a complete upper receiver.
