Random Command Happening
« on: October 11, 2016, 04:11:48 PM »
Skuzzy if in wrong forum sorry

I am wondering is anyone else having random command's happening to them? Since the new patches these things started to happen to me and I even uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game. I used to have them mapped to my throttle and now I disabled them I bare use my keyboard except for a few features and to type ingame. Random things that are happening are Clipboard map closes on its on, Recorder lately has been popping on and I do not have auto film turned on, Random Check 6's to players when I am not touching anything, and random engine shut offs. I searched everything possible i could think of and I keep getting drivers are all current.
Below is my dxdiag in case I am missing something.

Thank you

The only time I have heard of anything remotely close to this was caused by some keyboard programming utility run amok.

Wait,...

I see you are using the ATI sound driver.  I wonder what other devices are being shared by that interrupt?

Historically, video cards got assigned an interrupt, but never really used it, until these HDMI sound drivers came along.  The keyboard should be on its own interrupt, but these days, all bets are off.

Open notepad, and bounce you stuff around. See if it starts writing crap on the page. If not then Id say your equipment is ok and you have some sort of mapping issue. Move your kmp files out, restart the game and map enough stuff to fly. Go fly a bit and see if it still happens.

Just in case go check your controller mapping for the mouse. It doesn't happen often, but it has happened to me more than once that either a game update or relocating the controllers has mapped some functions to my mouse. If your keyboard has fancy extra features, check if they show as a game controller too.

I've got an older system by today's standards that still runs the game well by my standards.

After this latest patch I have been seeing the radio buffer open at random times.
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.
