make your icon overlay others

With all the icons from tanks and planes and bases, they can obscure your own icon.
 
Make your plane's icon overlay all others, so you can at least see which way you are going when using the map.

Plus maybe,  just like you can turn off field numbers on dense maps and field icons in the map right click submenu, the option to turn off all plane/gv/self icons so you can actually see the town icon in the clutter .

Good idea.

Another good idea.  Would love to turn off GV icons.
