Latest patch 3006to3007 fails

Aces High III Updater is reporting...

Patch Failed for the following files:
C:\Hitech Creations\Aces High III\stdshape.res

Game throws an error:

Initialization failed with -9

Well my only option was to uninstall, reinstall.  Saved all my settings folders, uninstalled, downloaded 3.06 from website (twice, first hiccuped).  Installed, updated, moved settings back.  Flying again within an hour... worst part was when I thought I had lost my access password, but I even had that saved.  Sheesh, I won't write down the admin passwords to our servers at the office but I write down my AH password... I'm sick
