Hold over issue from AH2 damage modle P38L
« on: October 21, 2016, 08:55:35 AM »
I've noticed an issue with a P38L taking elevator/trim damage.  Once my P38L takes damage to the elevator/trim area, my aircraft controls becomes sloppy(force feedback), if I bail, crash or ef return to tower and up another P38L, even though crtl D shows all systems normal, when I fly the new P38L the force feed back is still sloppy and the aircraft reacts as if it still has damage to the elevator/trim.  I have found that I must  end the game and start a new session to clear the issue with the P38L Elevator/trim controls. The P38L flys as usual and the force feedback feels normal until I again take damage to the elevator/trim area.   I first noticed this issue in AH2 and it appears to be a hold over.

I have noticed something similar in AH3 with the 38L.  Has only happened a couple of times the same night...felt as if the damper was turned way up on pitch

i do not use force feedback but I have noticed some odd elevator issues just on the P-38L.  Since going AH3 full time I have dirt darted the 38L mores time than I ever did in over three years in AH2.  All the dirt darts occurred during a low level, typical clover leaf attack pattern on GVs.

Pilot error can not be ruled out but at times it is like the elevator has been shoot out when it has not.

I am talking about a very specific issue, where I first get damage to the elevator/trim in a P38L which seems to get carried over into my next P38L even though I'm upping a new P38L.  It's like the damage is not being reset plane to plane.  if I have elevator and flap damage, the flap damage is fixed but the elevator feels like it is still damaged.
