Salute bug
« on: October 23, 2016, 12:39:27 PM »
I experienced a very odd bug in the MA today. I attempted to issue a salute to Joker using the ".s joker" command but got a message saying something to the effect of "you can't salute someone from the same side" although we were on different sides. We had just fought each other with me as a Knight and him a Bishop. I was later able to use the command to salute other Bishops, but was still unable to salute Joker even after re-logging. I hadn't changed sides for a few days prior to this happening.

Is it possible you were trying to salute j0ker spelled with a "zero" instead of "o"?

After I failed to get salute to work I successfully tuned a channel to the same name ("joker" with a letter "o") to pm him.

Squaddie from way back in Air Warrior days, Joker, has been a Specialist and Knight from his first day in Aces High, when AW shut down.
