P-51 firing its 50's recently

Here is a youtube video of a 51 with it's 6 50's firing three years ago or so . They are being fired on the ground while sighting them in . Thought it was cool to see the old girl with her guns active. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niJ82YCiuYU

That 51 is based in Minnesota and is an actual 8th AF combat vet.  I took the little guy to see it not long after that was taken.  They had the 109 target hanging on the hanger wall.  The little man got up close and personal  :)

Great pic guppy. Was worried you would put the poor fella in a picture with a big ugly twin engine trainer....

Still wondering how Dan raised such a nice looking young man to be a 51 fan lol .   I guess we should be happy that our kids didnt skip over WWII props and head straight for F-15 /22's  8)

I tried.  Right in front of an 80th FS marked 38 too.  As you can see he's pointing elsewhere..."Mustang!"  :)
