I thoroughly enjoyed being shot down by all you cartoon pilots. Have to get this weekly fighter fodder going on the main boards.

Regarding the extremely short range of friendly icons at the beginning of the evening: I know people don't like being ganged up on, but with such short icons it becomes impossible to tell what is 1v1 or 2v1 or 1v2 etc until you are so close that you are committed to the fight unless you want to be shot down extending out of it.  At the beginning, the friendly icon range was so short I actually held off shooting down one iconless plane because I got close enough to visually ID that it was a P38.  The radar dots help, but don't tell the whole story when the fight is low and dots disappear.

Just a thought that perhaps needs to be considered and treated as a trade-off.

It was fun and I enjoyed it a lot.  Thanks Jaeger for starting this up again.

I agree with 715 on the friendly icons. We've used 3K for friendlies in the past and that worked well. Thanks Jaeger for bringing staff night back, I've always enjoyed flying with the AvA staffers and the regulars.
