Importing Stick settings from another computer
« on: November 06, 2016, 12:40:43 AM »
Is there a way that you can import your joystick settings from another computer that has AHIII on it without have to reprogram same stick all over again on a different computer?

Thanks

Copy the .jsm files from the Settings folder.

You can copy the "*.jsm" and "*.hps" files from the old computer, but nothing else.

I had a problem with this when I went from an XP install to a Win7 install: Windows gave a different name to the joystick so the jsm file name was different.  No old settings showed up until I renamed the jsm file to match what Win7 calls the joystick.

Just thought I'd mention that in case anyone else ran into that problem.
