Finnish Beerster
« on: November 23, 2016, 11:55:19 AM »
I've updated another of my older skins to AH3 standards, this time its a Brewster B-239 first submitted in 2009. BW-393 of 1/LeLv 24 was flown by Captain Eino Luukkanen in the Continuation war in 1942. One uniquely Finnish feature are the kill markings on the fin, which were actually beer bottle labels.

Nice work!
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Oh so pretty! Awesome Greebo! :aok

The original fin:

The beer bottle labels got removed/painted over as the aircraft was handed to Hans Wind after Luukkanen transferred to command LLv30. Traces of the labes can still be seen.

Terrific work, Greebo.   Attention to detail in your skins is amazing.
