But with the low player numbers, this is needed more than ever:
What I'm babbling about is fixing what happens when the war is won. Instead of everyone logging off and killing the fight, open a second Melee Arena, while leaving the first open for another 20 minutes.
This was done years ago, with the Peak/Off-Peak Arena change over. The benefits would be that the fight could continue for those that wished it, while base smashers got a head start on the next map (which is good by the way). This would also give bombers and fighters in enemy territory a chance to land if they wished, or continue fighting. Meanwhile, the next map would be ready for action by the time they switched over.
As it is now, everyone logs off and it takes a while for the new map to get going. The numbers take a while to build back up in most cases. Especially sucky are war wins in prime time. I think it's bad to kick everyone out in the middle of the fight. The peak/off-peak switch seemed to work as intended. Please add it to the Melee Arena.
