The user interface thread appears to be FROZEN
« on: November 12, 2016, 11:09:12 AM »
Spoke to Roy and he directed me to download "The Ping Plotter.com"
I downloaded and installed it. It told me ""The user interface thread appears to be FROZEN""
Anyway it freezes on the clip board and I can't get online to play. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Does the game play off line?

If it does then your problem is an internet connection issue.
If it doesn't then its a software/computer issue.

When you run pingplotter you should get something like this....

If you have an internet issue (game runs off line ok) you type in the address 71.252.137.154 to test to the game servers, or hitechcreations.com for login server. If the game loads up but when you click to go "on line" and it stalls then you are not hitting the hitechcreations.com server to get login authorized. If you get to the screen where the arenas are listed and then it stops you cant connect to the game server 71.252.137.154.

The more info, as in step by step of what you are doing and seeing will help people figure out what the issues you are having may be.

I hope you went to "www.pingplotter.com" and installed their "Ping Plotter" program.  If not, you might have installed something bad.

first unplug the modem/dsl box, count to 15 and then plug it back in. Wait a couple minutes for it to reboot fully.

Next type this address into the "trace" box of pingplotter 71.252.137.154 and run it for a couple minutes. The second line was showing a lot of packet loss, the reboot of the modem/DSL box may clear that up. If it does you may be able to get into the game. You didn't say, does the game work off line?

When you download the game it comes with both versions.

Right click on the desktop icon for the game and click on properties.

in the box labeled "target" it should say "C:\Hitech Creations\Aces High III\aceshigh9.exe" if your install is in the default location.
