Land Mode with 8" Guns

 While setting up / entering Land Mode with the Cruiser's  8 " guns, the Shift+Q keys are depressed as the cursor is pointed to the target on the map simultaneously .  The cursor or plane icon on the map continues to be skewed off of the true bearing about 30 to 40 degrees. Could you help solve this aberration?

The icon is not aligned with the target because it is pointing in the direction of the gun view not the aim point.  After clicking on the target, close the map and zoom fully out.  Notice that the (grey) viewing reticle is not aligned with the (yellow) aiming reticle.  Use the mouse to align the reticles and zoom in.
