November '16 KOTH Results
« on: November 27, 2016, 04:00:15 AM »
November KOTH I was a little low on numbers with 4 pilots going at it.  However we did go on for 8 rounds with 3/4 players being wabbits.

Congratulations to Thrila who won this King of the Hill!   he chose the Spitfire mk XIV for next months first ride.  :salute

Round by round results as follows;

[1] Thrila in a Spit V
[2] Thrila in a Spit XIV (Wabbit)
[3] TC in a Mossie
[4] Sawzaw in a F4U-1
[5] Sawzaw in a 109-K4 (Wabbit)
[6] Molten in a Ki-84
[7] TC in a Spit VIII (Wabbit)
[8] Thrila wins in a C-202

Tournament of Champions invites will be reserved for Thrila, Sawzaw and TC.

Top Killers were:  Thrila 7, Sawzaw 7, TC 7 and Molten 2

Thanks to all for attending and we hope to see better numbers next month for some more dogfighting fun!

was amazing what fights / furballs can be had even with this many players.   Quality over quantity anyday!

This dang U.S. holiday weekend really hurt the attendance for both of the KOTH events!

With that said I showed up for the 9pm event just to watch, wasn't really feeling like participating but with the low numbers decided to help be a target, haha

Dang sure was one of the quickest KOTH events I have ever witnessed

Over in roughly 35 minutes with a 1, 2, 3 clean sweep by StarFox and congratulations to him for such a quick win!

Thanks for hosting it Junky, much appreciated!

ROFL! BBaw was a hoot! sure wish he would of stayed!

Edt: my apologies for posting the results unofficially, Junky, I wasn't thinking

I believe that is all with BBaw leaving in the first round which I am not complaining and understanding why

I need to review the film and see if my HammerHead maneuver in the me262 looks as perfect as I was seeing from the cockpit. It sure did surprised me that I was able to pull it off

Hope it looks as perfect as I think it did
