In my humble opinion, it would encourage more fighting.

Ok then break it down by MA experience.

1. - Enemy GV gets into the town before anyone spawns from the town hanger.

-How is the hanger protected from that lone GV heading to either shoot down the hanger or camp it making the defenders sitting ducks? How is this fair to anyone?

2. - Friendly GV or GVs gets out of the hanger and mounts the ring hills with a long range sniper shoot to the spawn.

-How is this fair to the spawn GVers who are now sitting ducks?

3. - Town center is 2.5 miles from the airfield GV hanger. The GV spawn is 2.5 miles from the town center.

-When you build a terrain, there is a tool that lets you setup circles with a radius from .1-100 miles. Terrain builders "usually" make the town defenders drive generally the same distance as the town attackers. Is that an unfair race?

When you think about building a terrain, a mistake that muddies how you setup things like this is you will unconsciously think from the perspective of only your country and how to defend it. Not, how is the a fair setup for the defender and attacker. Both are paying customers and your terrain is being used by your friends and potential enemies.

This is like the old joke that voters are harsher to their beer brewer if he has an outage, than their politicians after raising their taxes. Death and taxes are certain but, fun and sex is only now.

Instead of a hanger that you spawn from I'd like a hanger you can land in when planes are keeping the end sortie red. Being able to spawn inside town would be a bit unfair unless both sides could do it which would be sort of fun and hectic, sort of BOWL OF DEATH with buildings! Though I suspect most traditionalists would object.
