Mission Theater in AvA this Tuesday!!

After a week stand down due to a shipment of bad spark plugs, We are on again for Tuesday night 9pm est.

Since we are on alert, the O-club is not serving alcohol, but you can get coffee, tea and scones.

The Department of Redundancy Department will conduct a final test in the actual arena on mission day to make sure no more faulty spark plugs have slipped through.

STAGED MISSIONS INSTRUCTIONS.

When in the tower, click "staged missions" on your
clipboard and then "populate mission" Click on your
name in the list on the left side of the panel, then
double click the slot you want under Allies or Axis
section.
In this mission, Allies are listed as blue3, red2 etc. All these slots
are Spitfire MK V. Axis slots are listed by plane model.

When mission starts, you will automatically spawn into the
briefing room and then into a plane.If you wish to leave
the mission, go back to mission populate, click on your
name and click unassign.

I have my own ideas about being a more successful AI interceptor.  Tune in to AvA channel if you wish to discuss further.  In the meantime, I suggest we venture into the Missions Arena from the online tabs and see what tips we can pass along to each other.

Sadly, I will be pushing the likelihood of earning a speeding ticket by attending before work.... but  the AvA itch MUST BE scratched at all costs.

Fun time tonight! Thank you for putting this together.

Really enjoyed it, and the mission briefing and everything was pretty dang cool!

Apart from the glitch where the mission started over. it was a good night. It was nice to have 15 or so players tonight.

Nice videos!   

Hopefully next time I can get some of the briefing (With sound!) which was really neat.

I also noticed my FR was 12 during the fighting so no more fighting videos from me.

What are you using to record? And what is your vid card?

I'm using Shadowplay on my Geforce 970 on an ancient machine.

The edge seems to be using the Oculus (which has it's own requirements) and being in an area where there are ships firing or bomber groups firing.
It just bogs down.  I have EVERYTHING turned off and sliders to mins.

Without ships or bombers it's pretty good even with some stuff turned back on.

I'll be replacing it in a couple of months with something more hoopty.   

But lumping it for now.

Twas fun. I have loaned my Oculas to a friend for a few weeks - weird flying without it and using my joystick hat... of course I could stick back on my TrackIR...but I'm goin ole-school.
