Greebo, I think the metal tone on the wings and spine is too purple-ish. Otherwise, it's amazingly perfect.

BTW the purple-ish metal is something I really noticed while flying your 2S/11 Sentai Ki-84. So it may be an issue with several skins.

Its the slightly greener metal colour I have used since Vraciu said the same thing about one of my P-38s. What might be affecting this skin though is the amount of brown dirt I added to it, since the photo I referenced showed the original aircraft was very dirty. I'll try desaturating the dirt layers to reduce the red and if that doesn't help I'll add a bit more green to the metal.

Well, to me it looks like only a few select panels, mostly on the wings. But the ones that look purple also appear to be the least dirty. For example, the ammo bay hatches, ailerons, and wing tips all look too purple.

I've revised the 302nd FS P-47D-11 a bit to reduce the purple tint of the metal. The metal colour has slightly more green and less red now and much of the brown dirt has been desaturated. I also found a couple of the metal panel variation layers had a reddish tint which I have now corrected to grey.
